Hair myths

In order to have the best haircut, you must know certain things about your hair. There are many false claims and many myths. One of the myths is that cutting your hair often will make it grow faster. In fact, more people think that this is the truth than it is a myth. According to many experts, trimming your hair won’t make it grow faster. How quickly your hair grows, depend on your scalp. On the other side, many experts suggest that you should trim your hair every 6 to 8 weeks. This is done to remove those frayed ends. They can make your hair look thinner.

People with gray hair believe that if they pluck one gray hair, two will grow on its place. Once again, many experts say that this isn’t true. People who pluck their gray hairs, usually notice more after, so they believe that plucking is responsible for this. Actually, you cannot affect the number of your gray hairs, so don’t try.

Many people blame shower because their hair shed. If your hair will fall out, it will fall out. Showering isn’t related to this. The answer why people believe this is simple. They notice that their hair shed more during showering than during some other activity. Stress is one of the reasons why your hair shed. Surgery, divorce or something else, can cause your hair to shed. You can use lavender, rosemary or tea tree oil in order to stimulate hair growth. This is confirmed by the review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology.
